Restaurants near Fairfax Stone State Park

The food was very good as always. Our server was amazing, friendly and accommodating. The table of about 8 behind us was extremely loud, actually obnoxious with small children running rampant through that area of the dining room without care that servers and busters were coming in and out of the kitchen running into them and nearly dropping trays several times. I think it’s great that families bring their kids to better dining establishments but they should seriously keep them in check.

We had a fantastic time celebrating our parents anniversary at The Oxley House. A lovely and lively new restaurant in Elkins in the new Tygart Hotel. Welcoming! Yes! Cocktails before dinner? Well crafted by the amazing Mercedes. Service, well done! Filet… medium rare and cooked perfectly. Everyone had a great meal… brined pork chop, my filet, our mother’s trout and Dad’s burger. We saw groups of friends, families and couples on dates… a great restaurant for all of this. Very high quality food… and a good wine list too. Check out this great restaurant and let’s support them!

My mother in laws steak was way undercooked but everything else was great. Out waitress Sarah was phenomenal! My son was eating lemons out of the lemonade and she brought him a small cup full of lemon slices. This was a nice touch.

From start to finish Oliverios offered a warm ambience, combined with amazing food and great service!!

I highly recommend Bourbon Prime. My husband and I stay regularly in Morgantown as we drive from NYC to Lexington KY to see family. Bourbon Prime is now one of my favorite restaurants! The food (we all had steak) was delicious (main and sides) and readable priced for quality and portion size. The wine selection is small but solid and, again, very reasonably priced. And the service is EXCELLENT—friendly and efficient. We look forward to our next meal there!
