The Story of Josephine’sThe story of Josephine’s begins during our executive chef Daniel LeBoon’s childhood. At eight years old, working for his father’s catering company, Daniel discovered a passion for food. This love — and undeniable talent — saw him intern at Philadelphia’s prestigious Le Bec-Fin. He went on to work in Paris at the venerable Hotel Vernet working under the renowned chef’s Alain Solvere and Alain Ducasse. Everything was on point. Friendly hostess sat us promptly and addressed our parking concerns. Happy birthday name card was at my husband’s seat . Waiter was very attentive and accommodating. Food was delicious made to our perfection. The atmosphere was adorned In festive Christmas attire as the fireplace gave off a warm flow.

Another enjoyable dinner. I had the scallops and my wife had the chicken. Everything was paired tastefully. We also order a side of broccoli in cheese sauce which went well with both our dinners. Service was very good and while we would say the noise level was moderate we were able to have good conversation which is always a plus to us.

This is our second time eating here and I’m so glad we came back. Once again, everything was incredible. Cork & Cap has solidified itself as one of my Lancaster “must go’s” any time I’m in the area. If you’re going to be in Lancaster, make it a point to eat here.
