- JJuliaChicago / Illinois •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoGreat atmosphere, service, and of course, food! We had the Tom Yum seafood hotpot and the Karee Pu Noodles (curry crab noodles) and both were delicious. Can be hard getting a reservation (though luckily a 12:30 PM one opened up for us) so definitely reserve a spot in advance!More infoSoothrPrice: Expensive• Thai• East Village•4.7
- GGiuseppeNew York City •24 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoTo start, they were so helpful and respectful when I called mentioning I would be late due to heavy traffic and they still put us in a seat once we got there. Funny part is when driving up to the place, kind of looks like a hole in the wall so you wouldn't expect to want to walk in but when you finally walk into this small gem, the ambiance is so energetic and the decor pops to make it a romantic spot. The staff, from the host to the waiter were respectful and very good. The waiter doesn't rush you at all and you get to enjoy a good glass of wine and chat. Finally, the food. For a place you wouldn't think would have good food, well you would be wrong. We started with the appetizers which was the prosciutto and burrata. The prosciutto wasn't salty at all which blended very well with how good the burrata was. Just wow. Then another appetizer is the Carpaccio meat with arugula salad and topped with a shredded cheese. That also blended great together. Moving to the dinner, my wife had the popular Vodka Gnocchi. That tasted just right. The flavor of the vodka sauced mixed with the Gnocchi very well. The vodka sauce wasn't overpowering. I had the Carbonara Gnocchi. The egg, italian bacon, and white wine sauced was the best mix. Full of flavor on my dish. Finally, the dessert. The host kept coming to us to see if we were doing good. She was great. She recommended the Nutella Fried Gnocchi and I took the first bite into it and immediately knew, they were their word when it says nutella and not just some plain chocolate. This dessert was great with the nutella and white powered sugar on top. Hit the spot. To finish the night, for our wedding anniversary, they provided 2 glasses of prosecco. I would fully recommend this restaurant to anyone and go back to try the other dishes. Thank you!More infoGnoccheria East VillagePrice: Moderate• Italian• East Village•4.6

Highlights were apple and kale salad, tomato soup and grilled cheese dumplings, strip steak and mushroom ravioli. Service was fantastic and ambience was fabulous.
