Restaurants near Fort Donelson National Battlefield

This was our first time at this restaurant and it was absolutely amazing! The restaurant is beautiful, the noise level was low, and the ambience was just right. From the time we got there until we left, service was exceptional and all staff was friendly and accommodating. From the appetizers to the main entrees, even the rolls, were cooked to perfection. We've been to a lot of steakhosues, but this ine is the first where the prime rib was cooked evenly all the way through and was the exact temperature we requested. Garrison Steakhouse is now our #1 steakhouse.

The food was absolutely phenomenal. The steak that I ordered, which was the steak Oscar was the best I have had. I really cannot say enough good things or recommended enough. We drove over 90 minutes and it was well worth the drive.

We love the mailroom And Valentines Day did not disappoint. The live music/ violin… food… service was top notch!

And whatever you do, order “The King.” It’s an Old Fashioned inspired by Elvis—peanut butter, banana, and bacon whiskey. Sounds unusual, but trust me, it’s next-level good. Oaklawn is a place you don’t just visit—you experience it.

The best and fluffiest omelet I’ve ever had. Delicious shrimp and grits. Cant wait to eat here again
