Restaurants near Fort Parker State Park

What a wonderful evening! It was my first time and it won’t be my last. Food was so very good! Our server Lizzie was excellent. Drinks were very good. Our table had the NY strip, Ribeye, Halibut, Romaine salad, meatballs, creamed spinach, lobster Mac and cheese and au gratin potatoes- everything was cooked perfectly and came out hot.

The beer was exceptional - the food was good too. But if I went again, I’d go for the beer!

Our experience was very positive. The waiter was friendly and engaging. The food was reasonably priced, and we were allowed to substitute sides. It was quiet enough for us to converse with ease. The food itself was great. My chicken breast was moist and tender, and the Brussels sprouts were to DIE for! One of my personal measures of a restaurant is the quality of the coffee. The coffee was VERY good. My only negative comment is that the air conditioning was a little excessive and blew directly down onto my meal, causing it to get cold. I rarely comment about this because I am very warm-natured, but I do mind if it affects my meal. Patrons around us were wearing their coats and had similar complaints. The waiter said that the restaurant’s administration set the controls and the restaurant itself could not adjust it. I just kept the little menu and put it over the top of my coffee cup to keep it out of the wind. That was a minor inconvenience in comparison to the remainder of our experience however. I do recommend this restaurant.

Food very tasty and service is good and waiter was kind. I would recommend.

Great little outside venue that had great backyard food and vibes. We just missed the live performance but are excited about the new indoor addition they just opened. Can't wait to go back and take my kids too 😉
