You will find a casual bar and outdoor patio downstairs, with a more upscale experience in our upstairs room overlooking bustling 5th Avenue in San Diego's famous Hillcrest neighborhood. We've been featured on Food Network's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, as well as on A&E and The Travel Channel.Chef Andrew Boyer, a long-time New Orleans resident, has left no detail untouched in our food, from ingredients to presentation.     The team there as always provided outstanding service. Very welcoming, attentive and so fun. Unfortunately the food was a little underwhelming (my chicken was dry and my friends’ side dish was cold). However, the holiday decorations were so fun and festive. Had a great evening celebrating my friend’s birthday!

    You can't go wrong -- fantastic views, great food, outstanding service. Checks all the boxes. A top restauraunt, one of the best in San Diego, that makes for a memorable occasion. One note that may be helpful: we went for Jazz brunch on a Saturday, and despite the band playing in the bar, the volume was just right and we could easily hear each other speak.

    The wife and I had an amazing dinner to celebrate our anniversary! All the food was delicious and the setting was great and intimate. Will definitely be back to La Bonne Table for other date nights.

    We had a work winter gathering and had a great time. The hosts were accommodating to reserve the lounge room for our party. It was spacious enough to hold a few table games. The host was very attentive, kind and patient. We all enjoyed ourselves very much!!!

    Reservations or walk in, even to-go, either way the food is delicious. Angie was excellent. She didn't hover around us yet she showed up when she needed! Great food and we were serviced with a smile!
