- MMichaelYorkshire •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoThis was my first time going based on positive reviews from my parents and friends. This did not disappoint and is the best restaurant I have attended in a long time. The service was unbeatable. The atmos was wonderful, warm and very inviting. Love the quirky and distinctive art and deco around the rooms. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were extremely attentive and very helpful. I am excited and looking forward to going back with my partner. This has kick started my Christmas in the best way possible. A huge thank you to all the staff who served and keep up what is unbeatable service, quality and a unique experience to anyone. - KKatyYorkshire •3 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoLovely meal as usual. Only marked down because our waitress opened the champagne and it fizzed over, we probably lost a glass. She said she would ask the manager to take something off the bill (I’d have been happy just to be given another glass). When the bill came she’d removed the service charge instead. We felt bad about that as it goes to all the staff so ended up paying it anyway!More infoThe Star Inn The CityPrice: Expensive• Contemporary British• York•4.5

- CCarolineYorkshire •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoWe visit York every year for my friend’s Birthday. We always choose somewhere different to dine. We will definitely return to Cut and Craft. We had a fabulous experience. We arrived 2 hours earlier than our booking as we were all shopped out and hungry! We were happy to have a drink and wait for our table. But Evie very kindly managed to find us a table straightaway. We had a fantastic table and were very relieved to settle ourselves in and get comfortable. The ambience was so warm and cosy. I felt happy straightaway. We both chose the signature steak and shared 3 side plates. It was absolutely divine. We couldn’t eat it quickly enough, it was so good. The dessert of peach mousse with sorbet and pieces of honeycomb was also to die for. I can honestly say I haven’t had food as good as this in a long time. Thank you Evie for looking after us and helping us have such a wonderful time!More infoThe Cut & Craft YorkPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• York•4.6
