Dining at The Old Inn on the Green is an extraordinary experience: fine wine, great food, attentive, knowledgeable service and the dining rooms illuminated only by candle light. Really love the red line in. The ambience is wonderful and the service impeccable. My husband’s steak free was excellent and he enjoyed his wedge salad. I really like the clam chowder, but the turkey sandwich was a bit dry and the way they cut it looked almost manufactured. I added stuffing to the sandwich for an additional two dollars and it was cut almost too perfect in a square flat shape like it was pre-bought that way. The pecan pie and the warm caramel cake. We’re both excellent as well.

We went early, so the noise level was fine. Does get louder as the evening goes on. Food and service was too notch as we’ve come to expect. We were not disappointed and will be back.

The service and food were great. The live piano music was amazing as well. The only thing was that there was a large gathering in the bar area that was really loud and disruptive to the diners in the restaurant area. Otherwise, it was a great time.
