- CcolleenLos Angeles •7 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoFood was excellent! Ordered the very tasty well-seasoned, flaky crusted quiche with crisp cheese topped layer served with a beautiful mixed garden salad; also ordered the wild mushroom orecchiette in a light cream sauce (hint of truffle) with cute sized squashes and Japanese mushrooms. Next time will add a protein but nice vegan option. We felt like all the ingredients were picked straight from a garden. Now the best biscuits ever! For the first time tried their homemade buttermilk chive and gruyere biscuits. A bit pricey, takes around 17-20 min but TO-DIE-FOR. We ordered them because while waiting for our table, a local was waiting to p.up his biscuits to go, bake later. Says he does this every year for Thanksgiving and it's a must. So we did and it is a must!! Hats off to the Chef Jessica Roy; truly a specialty. Served with whipped butter and orange infused blossom honey. Yum yum. Drink was the tropical garden punch-refreshing. Wish we had room for dessert...next time for sure. Just be sure to plan ahead when you want to visit the garden too. Entrance is $5 pp. My mistake was visiting a couple days earlier, discovering the cafe and returning. Had to pay entrance fee again.More info608 DahliaPrice: Expensive• American• Corona del Mar•4.8

I took one of our employees to lunch there for her work anniversary. She has never been and wanted to check it out. She was so excited and happy to celebrate at such a special place. - RRobertvipSan Francisco Bay Area •16 reviews5.0Dined on 10 Nov 2024I love the Port Restaurant! Cool place to hang out and enjoy food, drinks, friends, conversation. We usually come early around 5:30pm then walk around the corner to the New Port Theater to watch a movie. Always enjoy the food, service and ambiance of the restaurant. However, since we always arrive early, we're usually the first or second customers and it seems that every time, the staff turns up the recorded music very loud. The food and drinks are still good, we still enjoy our friends, but the music is so loud we can't hear each other talk. Makes absolutely no sense to have the music that loud when there's only customers at one or two tables. Of course, we always ask staff to turn the music down, and they do. But, why should we have to ask? Anyway, I highly recommend the Port Restaurant.More infoPort Restaurant & BarPrice: Expensive• Continental• Corona del Mar•4.1
