Prawn cocktail was very good, fresh lettuce, good bread and a decent portion of prawns and sauce. Turkey dinner good but perhaps would have been better with roast potatoes. Creme brulee came with a fresh berry coulis, superb!More infoThe Hop VinePrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Ormskirk•4.8
- EElizabethWarwickshire •4 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe lunched with friends who had never been to Albert’s and they were amazed at the quality and value for money of the food. The drinks were equally good value …£8 for an Espresso Martini is brilliant. We asked to change tables and they did this for us and without fuss. Our server was friendly and very competent and the decor and ambience were first class. You have gained two new customers who no doubt tell their friends, As for us, Albert’s has never let us down.More infoAlbert's StandishPrice: Expensive• British• Wigan•4.6

There are a few choices on the menu but we always opt for the traditional Christmas fayre - Prawn cocktail was served in a lovely sauce with crunchy bits, delicious, followed by an unusual Turkey Balloutine, really tasty with all the trimmings, nice cranberry sauce too ! Finished off with Christmas pud, sauce & ice cream , very yummy ! With our glass of white wine followed by a bottle of red, it was the perfect meal. Portions were just the right size, well cooked and presented with style. A lovely atmosphere and ambience, beautiful decorations, everyone happily chatting around you and enjoying themselves. Much credit to the staff who served us - smiling, chatty but still in their professional mode, nothing rushed, the right timings between courses, service was impeccable, in fact - Everything was PERFECT !! Thank you to The Grand.More infoThe Grand HotelPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary British• Lytham St. Annes•4.8

Two courses for £14.95, which I felt was very good value. I highly recommend this lovely restaurant, the staff are very polite and helpful. At the moment it looks very Christmasy, lovely.More infoAlbert's WorsleyPrice: Expensive• British• Salford•4.5
