Morimoto was great on many levels. We ordered the taco duo appetizer. The dish was 2 mini tacos that ended up being 4 bites total and were mild in flavor. Please add some kick to these cute tacos. It would be a better presentation to have 4 tacos. The sticky rib hot appetizer was amazing!! The best! I loved this. The fried soft shell crab sushi roll was also delicious. I recommend this sushi roll. The service and atmosphere were excellent. Thank you.

Humuhumu is a charming dining experience. The traditional Polynesian decor creates a delightful dining atmosphere, and the menu provides delicious versions of Hawaiian seafood. Two of us particularly enjoyed the kampachi catch of the day. The one thing that prevented the experience from being as good as we have enjoyed in the past was the blaring soundtrack which seemed to be a melange of pop music of jarring variation from the last 50 years. It was a stark contrast to the much more appropriate Hawaiian-based sountrack we have enjoyed in the past and which was much more fitting to the charming setting.

Beautiful spot on the island for dining. Even the inside tables will experience the most beautiful sunset they have ever seen. This location has both what you might expect on mainland as well as amazing Maui specific specials. Island dining can be challenging if you don’t eat fish or seafood but the chicken here is so amazing! Staff greeted us warmly and our waiter was so attentive we were never without a sip or bite. It’s an impressive feet to accomplish without ever breaking up the conversation at the table, which he managed. This is why we return time and again.

Our server Nick was great! We went for happy hour and had Mai Thais that were out of this world. The kahlua pork and Jalapeno pizza was phenomenal as was the banana cream pie. Cannot recommend more!
