Peppercorn’s Grill is owned and operated by the Cialfi siblings, Sal and Dino, Brothers Sal and Dino purchased Peppercorn's Grill in 1989 and opened Piccolo Arancio in 1994. This generation of Cialfi's has added modern creativity and personality to traditional strengths of their Italian roots. Sal and Dino were trained in the art of Italian food at their uncle's restaurant in Rome. When the opportunity to open a restaurant arose, they jumped at the opportunity and opened the first Piccolo Arancio in Rome. Piccolo Arancio was internationally acclaimed within their first year.     The food was good I wish they had an option for garlic butter for the steak sauce… and the mashpotatoes were not worth $18. Small portion no flavor. Steak was beautifully cooked and able to cut the filet with a fork. French onion was very good!

    We were there on Christmas Eve to celebrate my daughter’s 18th birthday (on her actual bday) and the wait staff did such an amazing job. Our glasses were never empty, we never had to ask for refills. Our meals were delivered fairly quickly and the table was setup with a card and birthday confetti. Such attention to detail. The restaurant was busy, but you would have never known until around 6pm. Side note: When I was making the reservation, I was told there would be over 500 people in and out on Christmas Eve. Naturally, I was thinking the restaurant might lose its charm with all of that noise; but it never did. It was again, one of the best local dining experiences for our family! Thank you Capital Grille - Hartford!!🩷

    The staff was exceptional - attentive, handled special requests perfectly, did not make us feel rushed even on a busy night. The food was delicious, nice variety of choices. Had speciality drinks that were unique and very good.
