Restaurants near Highland Road Historic District

CR’s is a favorite restaurant of ours. The staff is welcoming and attentive, the ambiance is great and the drinks and food are fabulous. We have been following the owner, Chuck Rolocek,who is also a friend, for many years at his former restaurants and his present CR’s. He’s so professional and has created a wonderful dining experience - you cannot go wrong reserving a table at CR’s and enjoying a very special evening

Each week they have a burger special on Wednesdayat the bar. This week was the Greek burger. The only thing missing was to hav the bun toasted instead of just cold. The bartender makes good conversation and wonderful cocktails.

The booth by the window: friendly privacy without over the top intimacy. Allowed for catching up with a friend (work drama, family adventures, etc.) without that feeling I was telling the whole restuarant my business. That was surprising given the floor plan.

If you have experienced Kowloon in Saugus you will love it here. The food is similar but better because it is cooked to order and presentation is perfect! Staff was friendly. The only thing that would have made it perfect would have been if they acknowledged my occasion since open table asked and I did say we were there for a birthday celebration.

We had a reservation and were seated right away. Everyone enjoyed their food for the most part. The star was the smashed breakfast potatoes. They are addictive and perfect. Our server, Michelle, was excellent and attentive.
