- BBrandonWisconsin •4 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWow. That was delicious. Our server was Luis who was very pleasant (had to flag him down a couple times but overall did a great job). Drinks were served fairly quickly (old fashions and black manhattans were tasty). Started with the bread and butter. 3 types of "toppings" on the butter and it was a fun way to start the meal with warm bread. Then we shared a caesar salad that was prepared with some crispy cheese on top and not drenched in dressing. The lobster bisque was like a miso soup meets bisque, different and good but not sure if I would get it again. I had the filet and my wife had the salmon with the skin cooked to a crisp and both were cooked beautifully. Highly recommend.More infoThe StatehousePrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Madison•4.5
- LLylyAnchorage •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoCame in with reservations and was seated immediately. Shared the frites. They were excellent. Miss the shoestring. Prime rib hash had good size pieces of mushrooms for that umami taste. The potatoes were nice and crispy. Side salad was nice and bright. The kids loved their French toast and bacon. Good portion sizes. The Rolling Stop Omelet and biscuits and gravy were delicious. Can't wait to try more!More infoPaoli Schoolhouse American BistroPrice: Expensive• Farm-to-table• Madison•4.8
- DDanielChicago / Illinois •17 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe were thoroughly blown away by this establishment from the moment we walked out of the elevator to the moment we had finished and walked back into it. This place is one of the best restaurants we have ever eaten in and we've been to hundreds of restaurants all over the world! We kept hearing about the view but it was a deep fog on the night that we were there and so we never saw the view that everyone is always raving about and we were still stupefied with the quality of everything we saw, experienced, ate or touched. It is a small plate restaurant (of tapas lineage) and the way they mix and match is nothing short of astounding. There were four of us and we ordered two apiece with the intention of ordering more as we devoured them on arrival. The plates did not seem all that huge, but four of us could not finish all the food on eight plates. We had extra but through no lack of our own super abilities to eat boatloads of food and we ordered: truffled fries, pan seared salmon, charred cauliflower, smashed brussel sprouts, bruschetta (brie and fig, smoked salmon, fresh mozzarella, and tomatillo and avocado), spinach & cheese tortellini, crispy lobster, and one more that I can't, for the life of me, remember. Believe me that they were all memorable, it's my leaky brain that can't retain anything anymore. Even though we were maxed out on available stomach-space we went ahead and ordered the flan for dessert, which has a brownie underneath it, and it was the highest level of delectability that any of us had ever experienced. I got the Mocktail Raspberry Pineapple Mule which was stupendous. Back when I was drinking I would have ordered five of these during a meal but this one was quite enough for the night. We ended up with about a sixty-dollar cost per-person which is substantially less than I thought it would be but I have to say that the quality of food and service was worth double of what we paid.More infoEno Vino DowntownPrice: Expensive• Bistro• Madison•4.7
- CCatherineVIPWashington, D.C. Area •14 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoConsistently fine quality, in food, presentation, and service. The menu offers so many interesting options, and the flavors are beautifully chosen to make each plate distinctive. When we order beef as we did tonight it hit medium rare masterfully! Coopers has been a favorite of ours since 2016, across many states, and the Middleton, WI venue lives up to the high standards set by the company.More infoCooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant - Middleton, WIPrice: Moderate• American• Middleton•4.5
