Restaurants near Historical Society Museum

My wife and I came here for our first time after wanting to visit for over a year. We selected the 4 course dining option w/o the wine pairing. We both enjoyed a cocktails before and during dinner service. The drinks were on point for liquor and taste. We enjoyed appetizers of oysters, duck, veal and butternut squash soup. All were amazing flavorful and delicious. For entrees, my wife enjoyed the halibut and I the smoked duck breast. The duck was the best I have ever tasted. We finished the evening with dessert. She selected a cashew/pecan cake and I had the cherry glazed cake with creme fresh and chocolate shavings. Mine was absolutely amazing as the cake is in the shape of an oversized cherry, covered in decadent chocolate and covered in cherry glaze. It looked like an oversized cherry on the plate. It was delicious. Service was the best we had in any restaurant on the Eastern Shore. We will be back.

This is a very special place with a wonderful wine list and delicious food. You can expect to be warmly welcomed at the door and professionally served. Highly recommend.

Another great meal with excellent service. The ceviche was fresh and yummy. The tacos, delicious.

We stayed at the Tidewater Inn in Easton, and had dinner at the in-house restaurant Hunters Tavern. The food and service were very good. It was very nice having a good restaurant in the hotel. We enjoyed it.
