- NNicoleVancouver / British Columbia •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoI have been to Boom and Batten numerous times, find it can be really good or a miss. Our dinner this evening was amazing. Our server was attentive and helpful. The food was delicious. We had the meatballs, gnocchi and the pappardelle duck pasta. We will be back.More infoBoom + BattenPrice: Expensive• Regional American (Northwest)• Victoria•4.6

- VVickiSeattle / Eastern Washington •1 review5.0Dined on 5 Dec 2024The food and service were excellent. The only complaint I have is that the lights were WAY too bright. When one has an evening meal in a lovely setting - it shouldn't be necessary to wear a ball cap so the lights don't glare in your eyes. Besides the regular hanging lights which were pretty bright - there were can-lights in the ceiling with very strong bulbs in them. This really ruined the ambience. Made it feel more like we were dining in a cafeteria instead of a steakhouse. All - in all, that is the ONLY thing that made this meal deviate from being absolutely perfect. The chef even made my salmon well done - as I requested. (I know they don't normally appreciate cooking something differently than what is considered proper.) But, I REALLY appreciated that. The calamari were excellent - fresh and tender. My 'extra dirty' martini was even perfect. This is our go-to place for bringing out of town guests because we know the food and location make it a very special place to eat.More infoDouble Eagle Steak and SeafoodPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Sequim•4.8
