Through our cafes, roastery and urban farm we work to look after the planet, our people and our customers. Because we believe what we do every day matters.Find us near F45 Barton - Two Before Ten Barton is another revival we’re really proud of. After being run down for a few years, we were approached to return the site to its glory days, back when the ‘Daily Grind’ café was the coolest spot in Barton. A few tins of paint, a timber floor and a whole bunch of jack-hammering later, we reckon we’ve got it there.e: barton@twobeforeten.com.auOPENING HOURSWeekdays7am - 2pm

Since 2010, Briscola has firmly established itself on the Canberra food scene and is arguably this town's most popular Italian restaurant. Now with a newly refurbished venue, it offers an unpretentious yet stylish approach to an authentic Italian dining experience. At the forefront it’s about the food: simple, wholesome and traditional without being old fashioned. The “old fashioned” is evident in the service with Gianni and his incredible staff focusing on giving the diner a charming experience. What sets it apart is how they transport you to Italy. Start with an aperitivo to open the palate, enjoy a local or Italian wine varietal and finish with a soothing digestive.Briscola is situated conveniently in the heart of the city near hotels and public transport.Sit inside or alfresco, Briscola seems to suit anyone… families, young couples, group functions and corporate luncheons. Dinner for two for a Birthday dinner. Monday night atmosphere was perfect. Hosted by Charlotte who had an extensive knowledge of the menu and regional wines. I highly recommend Wilma for the perfect night out.

Three of us enjoyed a tasty lunch. We sat outside as a noisy gathering of 16 people were dining inside in the aircon. Service was mediocre for the standard of the hotel. After finishing our food and drinks, the glasses were taken away, but not the empty plates. We then had coffee and chatted for another half hour or so. Still the empty plates were not collected. Appeared to be one person collects the glasses: another the finished plates.

The "Truffle Dinner" we experienced was one of the best ever! The chef was very friendly, took the time to greet people, described and demonstrated the makings of the dishes, he was funny and the whole atmosphere was one we will never forget! Each dish was exceptional, and each time a course was served up it was almost like we were being teased as we were wanting and begging for more!! The amount of effort and creativity was beyond amazing and nothing like we had ever experienced in the past. Hello JiJu, (Head Chef) we hope we spelt your name right. You are an admirable chef, and it shows how passionate you were and are with the whole shebang. Can't wait to do it all again!! Cheers see you at Hotel Kurrajong!! :-)
