Toru tiene como uno de sus significados la disciplina, como verbo se utiliza para describir la acción de haber ganado algo a través de esfuerzo o trabajo. La perseverancia y resiliencia son parte de la disciplina, por lo cual se selecciona el pez koi o carpa japonesa como símbolo. Totoru nace de la necesidad de generar experiencias por medio de la gastronomía asiática llevando a la mesa sabores, texturas y cultura. Mas que saciar una necesidad fisiológica que es comer, nos encargamos de crear momentos para la memoria de cada invitado y estar presente en sus recuerdos. TOTORU nombre derivado de “toro” generalmente se refiere a la carne del atún, específicamente a la parte mas grasa y apreciada del pescado, que se utiliza en la preparación de sushi y sashimi. It was another amazing dinner. Thanks to Bilen for her great table service. One of my favorite spots in Mazatlan. Go for the Rock Shrimp, spicy corn, crispy rice with tuna, rice with ribs, and the Won Ton dessert. Bathrooms are pretty cool. Go check them out

Nothing bad to say about the service it was outstanding ! Clean restaurant with an open kitchen. Food was good, my only complaint is that my ceasar salad was rusty lettuce not fresh, for the price you expect a detail like that to be fixed before coming to the table. Drinks were good! The restaurant was empty but it was a Tuesday night so more quiet then on the weekends.
