Restaurants near Hotel Sausalito

My best friend and I went here for an early Holiday celebration. She had lobster and I had the scallops! Everything was really good and the seafood was fresh. Service was good but a little slow so not a problem. The holiday drinks were nice and they have an extensive wine list. This is a local favorite for special occasions in Sausalito! We will always be back year-round!

Poggio is my go-to restaurant. It never disappoints. The food, the service, the ambiance are all top notch. My return guests from out of town always request at least one meal at Poggio. First timers have remarked, “if only we had a restaurant like this back home”. Well done!

We are long time fans of the Spinnaker & decided to take our friends to the Spinnaker because they said they had not eaten there in a very long time. Since it is late December, we wanted to enjoy the views while we enjoyed drinks & conversation before dinner. I booked a 3:30PM reservation. We got a great table in the corner window. Wow! Pelicans, gorgeous light on the water, a couple seals in the water, made quite a show. We told our “extremely professional” waiter that we wanted to enjoy drinks & conversation for a while before we ordered food. He understood that we did not want to be rushed & he was fantastic. We had many important business topics to discuss and our waiter was sensitive not to interrupt our discussion. (I love it when a waiter stands nearby until we have finished our discussion.) 5 stars all around. Valet parking is always a good thing thing. Food is always wonderful! The Spinnaker is a Gem!!!!

Beautiful views and atmosphere in restaurant. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would absolutely go back again. Food and drinks were great.

A while back, I cannot book reservation on Open Table app the time we wanted but I still booked at a later time. When I called the restaurant directly, the hostess was able to adjust the reservation to the time we wanted. We arrived to our reservation at 12:30 pm today. The hostess Daria was so accommodating when I asked to change our table to a better view of the water. The server was nice explaining the good red wine on the menu according to my liking. I ordered the recommended Meiomi red wine. It was light to my taste which was good. My friends got white wine and Irish coffee. For starters we ordered the Horseradish Deviled Eggs with Bacon and tasted good. My friends ordered the same Crab Cake Benedict and Classic Eggs Benedict. I got the Pan Seared Jumbo Sea Scallops over the risotto. The whole food was delicious. The interior ambiance was beautiful. The service was superb. A few times I visited the restaurant in the past and I don’t mind returning for occasions or just to hang out with girl friends. I recommend The Trident restaurant even it’s a drive to Sausalito from different angles of places.
