Hubby’s birthday meal. From the moment we walked in, the staff were very attentive, but not overly so. Three up of us were eating, hubby and I both had Korean chicken to start, it was sublime. Our main courses were equally delicious. Our server was new, but very professional and friendly. The manager of the establishment came to chat, very, very friendly gentleman. We were given a complimentary dessert wine, which was delicious. Wouldn’t hesitate to go back. A wonderful evening was had by all. Thank you to all of the staff for a wonderful evening.

We recently celebrated my husband's surprise 60th birthday at The Fox, and I cannot recommend this venue highly enough. From the moment I called earlier in the day to arrange for a cake and balloons, the young lady I spoke to (whose name, unfortunately, I didn't catch) was incredibly accommodating. She thoughtfully asked if the cake needed to be refrigerated and even offered to have the balloons set up at the table before our arrival. What impressed me most was her attention to detail—she made sure our guests were seated discreetly where they couldn't be seen from outside and directed them to use a side door, just in case my husband arrived early. This extra effort ensured the surprise stayed intact, which I greatly appreciated. The service throughout the evening was excellent. Our waiter was attentive without being intrusive, striking the perfect balance. And the food? Absolutely outstanding. The prosciutto-wrapped cod was a highlight and is something I would highly recommend. Thanks to the team at The Fox for helping to make this milestone birthday such a memorable occasion!

Really Amazing service, very attentive and really helpful recommendations for choices. We had a party of 6, I had a few questions before our reservation and they got back to me super quickly. Plant based menu was amazing - really great choice. Highly recommend the mushroom wellington! All the food was great, (only reason for a 4 rather than a 5 was other groups feedback that they didn’t have the crab). Lovely building and location, over all a fantastic experience- so much so that we have booked a private room for Christmas Lunch 2025 already!!

Beautiful place with warm atmosphere. Friendly staff. We were very early and they were very accommodating. Toilets clean and beautiful decor. Restaurant felt comfortable and had relaxing feel to it. Lovely food, slightly expensive for a plate of pasta but was delicious. We had a relaxing meal in beautiful surroundings. We will definitely go back with friends and family for special occasions.

Always a great place to dine! Never disappoints and is always one of our favourites.
