Chandler’s opened it’s doors in December of 1999 behind the historical Symons General Store building. It’s a cozy place with only 50 seats in the main dining room & 10 seats at the bar. When real estate is too tough to find - it’s standing room only! For a change of scenery, guests can enjoy dining in the wine cellar where they are surrounded by the 4,000 bottle collection that serves both the restaurant and Symons General Store. Generous portion of perfectly cooked white fish with excellent sides, and nicely arranged. Service was exemplary. This is been true throughout my Stafford experience. Staying at the Bay View Inn.

Wonderful! We had an outstanding server, Nashoba, who paced out our meal perfectly. The French soup was amazing and I would absolutely order the filet again. A great bonus is the pianist in the main dining room. Will absolutely be returning the next time we’re on the island!
