- DDawnAustin •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe enjoyed our elegant post ballet dining experience at Dean’s with attentive and thoughtful service by Lawrence and his team. We all had the smaller filets, mine in Italian Oscar style which was delicious and so tender we could have cut it with a butter knife, but appreciated the exquisite steak cutlery with pearlized handles.Honoring a decade of friendship, my daughter & her bestie were also quite enamored of their Mocktails and the amazing bread. Tiramisu was perfectly on point…not overly sweet and paired with a tawny port for pure perfection. We will definitely return for other special occasions …More infoDean's Italian SteakhousePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Downtown•4.8

- JJocelynChicago / Illinois •1 review5.0Dined on 27 Nov 2024Saludos! Our food was delicious, ambiance was wonderful and the suggestions Giovanni gave us on drinks, pairings etc. were the cherry on top! I recommend the Brussel sprouts- so crispy and crunchy! I had the filet mignon in black mole as I’m an omnivore. My spouse is a vegetarian. The only downside to our meal which is not unique to Mexta, is serving cauliflower as the vegetarian entree. The industry has been holding on tightly to this choice and has become the default veg-choice. I didn’t have room for dessert but their 3-cheese cheesecake caught my eye. I hope I can stop by at my next visit to Austin. :)More infoMextaPrice: Very Expensive• Mexican• Downtown•4.6
