Restaurants near Kahili Golf Course

Monkeypod is definitely one of my most favorite restaurants on Maui. I go to both locations frequently, but Whalers Village is my favorite. The food is outstanding and the staff is amazing and the view is spectacular. I recommend this as a destination for all occasions.

We had a great meal on Christmas Day! Our server was excellent…I wish I had gotten his name. We weren’t rushed at all. One thing to note and the management might want to consider: we had a small dog with us and when I looked on website to see if they were dog friendly, I could find anything about that. When I called they said it wasn’t a problem and indeed it wasn’t an issue. They may want to add that information to their website for future guests (apologies if it is there and I just missed it). The spinach/persimmon salad was unusual and excellent! Husband raved about the short ribs and my butter fish was amazing. Roy’s never disappoints and the food and service was spot on even on a busy Christmas Eve. A little pricey though, so we reserve it for a one time experience in our 2 months here.

We sat along the railing overlooking the gorgeous ocean sunset as boats pulled up to the sand. The views, food and service were amazing!

Had the surf and turf. 7 oz filet was excellent with lobster ravioli. Would likely order just filet next time. The gratin potatoes were great also. Started with excellent crab cakes and the Caesar salad. The salad had great croutons but the dressing lacked flavor and could have used some lemon and anchovies. Sat outside which was a great vibe.
