Restaurants near Kaanapali Plantation #3

Our first time there, and we had a great experience. We shared a large salad, and we each had the Catch of the Day (Mahi Mahi.) The food was fresh and cooked to perfection. Staff was very attentive. We sat on the patio, and the ocean breezes and view of the water was perfect.

We had a great meal on Christmas Day! Our server was excellent…I wish I had gotten his name. We weren’t rushed at all. One thing to note and the management might want to consider: we had a small dog with us and when I looked on website to see if they were dog friendly, I could find anything about that. When I called they said it wasn’t a problem and indeed it wasn’t an issue. They may want to add that information to their website for future guests (apologies if it is there and I just missed it). The food was good, nothing amazing but it was prepared right and the price was reasonable. The chef was good and friendly but didn’t interact much and he didn’t do any of the corny “egg roll” jokes nor try and flip a veggie into your mouth etc. The $11 up-charge for the fried rice was a joke, it was literally just soy sauce and garlic butter (although the menu says bacon fried rice there was none). If you’re wanting to stay on property, it’s a good option overall.

We sat along the railing overlooking the gorgeous ocean sunset as boats pulled up to the sand. The views, food and service were amazing!

We enjoyed the meal. The hula pie was not as good as usual. The cookie crust was very thin and the hot fudge was considerably less.
