I’ll start off by saying I don’t like steak. Whenever I go out to eat I’ll order shellfish or seafood. Never steak. However, when my waiter recommended the Korean Bavette, I figured I’d give it a try since he spoke so highly of it. It was 100% the right call to make. I’ve never had such a tender and flavorful steak in my life. My server was extremely knowledgeable and had such insightful recommendations for all the menu items. He truly made this such a top notch experience.

Great place to watch fireworks on a Friday night. Don't forget to make reservations for a table on the patio. Tony our waiter was very nice and so was the entire staff at Mariposa. Live music was a plus also. What a great dinner experience. We'll be back soon.

Had an excellent meal here. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. Our food was delicious, and the drinks were fantastic. They even gave us a free dessert and wrote “Happy Anniversary” in chocolate on the plate. Would definitely dine here again!

Merriman's Ward is definitely our first preferred spot for wino wine share get togethers. Food's fantastic and approachable and the corkage is still wino friendly compared with other places that have corkage charges set to discourage bringing special bottles to share with friends. We enjoyed a 3 hour commiseration over a bottle of Radio Silence! Servers were attentive but not intrusive--they let us do our wine share thing; very nice and appropriate wine glasses. All in all a place not to be missed. Thanks and mahalo again Merriman's Ward!!
