Aloha, we are open daily from 7:00am to 11:00pm and are located on the waterfront of Waikiki Beach inside the Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort. We accept reservations & reserve a large amount of space for walk-ins. If your desired reservation is not available, please join our waitlist in person daily. Happy Hour is available daily from 3:30pm-5:00pm (excluding select holidays). Our chef driven concept is led by the classically trained, award winning chef, Peter Merriman. Peter is a culinary pioneer and one of the founders of Hawaii Regional Cuisine. He has always been inspired by the people and products around him and this spirit has lead the movement to look at food in Hawaii in a new light. Monkeypod Kitchen by Merriman embraces this passion!     Great service from Ally. Views and ambience were spectacular. Ocean views aplenty. Food was pretty good. Nothing inventive or spectacular, but solid. They really push their Mai Tais which were very tart with a thick and super sweet foam which reduces the size of the cocktail by a good amount. Not even close to others I’ve had in Waikiki.

    WOW! 5 STARS all the way around!! From the moment we sat down and took in the amazing view to then meeting our server Sarah we knew we were in for an amazing dining experience. Everything Sarah recommended to us was delicious!! The cocktails so refreshing! The entrees mouth watering. I had the flat iron steak special and my husband had the ginger pesto catch of the day. Both entrees were cooked to perfection with the best flavors! They were DELICIOUS! Sarah was an absolute delight!! Her smile lit up the room every time she interacted with us. She provided 10 star customer service! We can’t wait to return in late February to enjoy another amazing dining experience and you bet we will be asking for Sarah!!

    We’ve had the pleasure of dining at a number of Roy’s locations over the years (including on the Big Island just a few weeks ago.) All have been good, but our experience at the original Roy’s on Oahu was exceptional. The service was friendly and professional, our sunset view table was appreciated and our meal was perfectly prepared and delicious. Happy to highly recommend.

    Merriman's Ward is definitely our first preferred spot for wino wine share get togethers. Food's fantastic and approachable and the corkage is still wino friendly compared with other places that have corkage charges set to discourage bringing special bottles to share with friends. We enjoyed a 3 hour commiseration over a bottle of Radio Silence! Servers were attentive but not intrusive--they let us do our wine share thing; very nice and appropriate wine glasses. All in all a place not to be missed. Thanks and mahalo again Merriman's Ward!!
