Taft and Mexican President Porfirio Díaz met for a summit in the El Paso-Juarez border; the land commonly known as El Chamizal. Flags were lowered and the borderland remained neutral territory. A traditional, conservative luncheon was hosted by President Taft at the El Paso Chamber of Commerce followed by an opulent dinner served and presented by President Díaz in the Old Federal Customs building in Juarez.     The food was absolutely delicious. I had the Caprese salad and the beef tenderloin.. Perfecto! My friends both had the puntas de filete and a salad. They said it was fabulous. Our waiter was very efficient and helpful. The wine list was a little pricey but ithe wine was very good. The chocolate cake quite yummy and we started our evening at the bar with excellent dirty gin martinis. It was worth every bit of our eye opening bill.

    Beautiful restaurant. Low perfect lighting. Individual small lamp at each table. Choose your own steak knife from many options. Delicious sauce options with filet mignon . Excellent truffle mac & cheese. Thank you to our server Michael for being attentive, you made our dinner memorable!! Will definitely return.

    Wish I could give our server an extra star. I don't recall her name, but she was absolutely fantastic. She was full of energy, helped us out with our selections, provided recommendations, and fully aware of our needs. Kudos!
