Following a major refurbishment in early 2019, Chapter One has relaunched with a more modern approach, tempting guests with greater variety and quality.Under the direction of acclaimed chef Andrew McLeish, modern European cooking is available in two formats. Because it is not a huge restaurant, I always feel that when I eat here it is more intimate and personal. You are able to have a conversation without it being too noisy and I’ve always found the food to be a good quality. Sometimes the service is slow but generally we always leave the feeling satisfied.
