Amazing food and staff as well as drinks and the environment is stunning.

Update: Thank you to restaurant for accepting honest review and criticism, we love coming back to Schildkroete and we will be back for sure. It is a great place to hang out with a good company, food is great, portions are huge, only remark would be: 1. Service staff seems stiff at times and quite pushy to order as soon as you are given the menu, we asked to give us 2 minutes to read the menu but that 2 minutes was 20 seconds at most and we were told our booking is for 1,5 hours only so we need to leave before then, which I did not find info while making the booking. 2. They become quite aggressive if you say payment is by card, and instantly become extremely polite if you are paying in cash (observed in 5-6 visits over the years)

One of the best Italian restaurants in Berlin. Food quality like you’re in Italy. Very good-looking decoration. Warm atmosphere. Nice and very kind service. I’ve been in the place a couple of times before and I always visit it when I’m in Berlin. It’s a characteristic spot.🙂
