Good food, great service, convenient location. Always enjoy dining at Dawson's.

My two daughters and I were there for Thanksgiving lunch which we have done for the last three years. The experience has always been great but this year was outstanding as we were served by Amanda B. which made the whole experience a delight. She greeted us with a huge smile and we could tell that this lunch was going to be one of our best ever. We chatted with her like we had known each other for years due to her amazing personality. She answered any questions we had and just made us not feel rushed. She brought our drinks while we looked over the selections again and promptly took our order once we were ready. She did offer us some of their pretzel rolls which by the way are amazing. Our entrees were served within a few minutes which was oof the hook since this is one of their busiest days. The turkey was tasty and not dried out along with the sausage dressing that was a change from the standard form. All of the food was prepared excellent and the portions were far more than any of us could consume hench take out boxes for us. The dessert was to die for with a pumpkin tart and whipped cream. All of the staff was great from the hostess to Amanda B. that made our day as we found out she had three kids of her own after asking. I know working on a holiday sucks but she never showed that side. We will be back next year and hopefully Amanda B. will be there!

Two in our party had the traditional Thanksgiving plates and the other person ordered off the menu. We all commented that the 'traditional' plates were so much better than the other restaurants which take the time to re-stock a buffet line. Individual plates of the 'traditional' foods are definitely more sanitary than following others standing in line, especially if the restaurant staff need to re-stock the food items. A bonus with offering the full menu was a welcome additional surprise! Rick's is well known for an excellent choice on the west side of Indy.

Root & Bone is always excellent! The food and drinks are consistently created and served with care, and the service is top-notch (including Lindsey on our latest trip!). We've been to dinner and brunch several times, and it has become one of our neighborhood favorites.

Happily surprised by our brunch! We heard you go for the vibes…the food is ok…but our experience was quite different…the food was just as fabulous as the esthetics!!!!!! We arrived at the estate and of course were blown away! We explored the showrooms and loved everything we saw. Then we moved to the absolutely gorgeous dinner room!! The styling was impeccable with stunning views. Our server quickly greeted us and was wonderful offering us suggestions and answering our questions. The servers were more than attentive without being overbearing. The food was fabulous! Everyone in my party was blown away with the quality of the food and how quickly it all came out. Our cocktails were also fabulous! We were honestly completely blown away with our experience and are absolutely planning on coming back for dinner.
