Lokma, which means “a bite” in Turkish, opened in Feb 2018 and is located in the Outer Richmond. We serve a fresh Californian and Turkish fare while serving our guests with warm hospitality in our bright and open space. Please note that we allow 15-minute grace period for reservations, we ask that you please call if you are going to be late. Reservations will be marked as no-shows after 15 minutes. Due to the high number of no-shows and last-minute cancellations, we now have a 24-hour cancellation window for parties of 6 or more. We will require credit card information through OpenTable. Beautiful Modern Mediterranean restaurant by Chefs Laura and Sayat (Star Chefs and San Francisco Chronicle Rising Stars) at the Main Parade Lawn in the heart of the Presidio National Park. The restaurant's menus feature Presidio-inspired seasonal craft cocktails, a progressive wine menu, and a cuisine that balances the comfort of familiar Mediterranean flavors with California sensibilities. In cohesion with the Presidio National Park, the design features soft, natural colors; repurposed furniture items from the Presidio; and a mural and a hand-drawn wall paper by Bay Area artist Emily Parkinson.     Beautiful spot. Felt transported to magical Mexico….upscale, attention to details, service- impeccable. I had the chicken and steak enchiladas, the guacamole and the churros….with a special birthday sparkler. When can I go again!?

    Laura and Sayat have done something really special here. The attention to detail is evident in every dish, beverage, service and decor. There really is no other restaurant In SF I can compare it to. Bravo!

    First time visiting and it was just delightful. Great ambiance, fun, clean and good food. Tuesday night children eat for free was particularly heart warming. Lots of local folks with their families enjoying a special night out. I really like the ricotta balls as an appetizer. Very nice and light unlike a traditional fried cheese. The pizzas are cooked in a wood burning oven and the pasta is made by hand. Definitely worth a try.
