This lovely 1737 cider mill has been a Connecticut favorite for many years, and has now completely renovated by its owners, Chris and Michelle Calvanese.     New Mill has always been our favorite. The decoration's were absolutely gorgeous for the holiday season. I was a bit disappointed in our server. He was not attentive and did not come back to see how our dinner was. I had to have someone find him. A bit arrogant too. Certainly not the norm but hopefully New Mill will see this without naming anyone's name they know who he is. We've been going here for years and their servers have been just wonderful! Their Pork Chop among other incredible dishes is our favorite and the portions are very generous. Can't wait to go back to my favorite restaurant!! Anonymous

    Everything was absolutely excellent. And had an exsquisit bottle of wine on discounted wine Mondays which I was not aware of. I would recommend this for a very very nice dinner out for anyone.

    We had a fantastic experience from the moment we arrived. The online reservation process was seamless and we were seated promptly upon arrival. The restaurant's warm, cozy, and inviting atmosphere was beautifully decorated. Our waitress was extremely helpful, attentive, and offered excellent suggestions. The food was outstanding and the drinks were exceptional! We can't wait to return for another visit. This hidden gem is definitely worth stopping by.
