Restaurants near Long Island Marriott Hotel

The Capital Grille is always outstanding! I had the seared tuna and my husband had a strip steak. Both were cooked to perfection and tender and delicious. Of course we had the fried calamari too. That’s a favorite app. Gino our waiter was fantastic as well. Very attentive and friendly and always around if we needed anything. It was a great night!

Beautiful restaurant. Food was excellent we had 4 small plates all very good. Service was great. Drinks were expensive though and valet is so far away from door we were freezing by the time we got our car! Also walkway slippery due to the snow we had. But overall very nice experience would recommend.

The salmon was delicious!! Best salmon I’ve had in a while. Cooked perfectly!! While our waitress was very nice, I felt we were rushed. Our entrees came out almost immediately after serving our apps. We should have said something but did not. So in order to enjoy our entrees while hot, we switched to eat our main meal, then they wanted to clear away our uneaten apps in order to serve our desert. Every table that was seated before us was still there when we left so it’s not like we were there forever and since it was raining, there were a number of tables that remained empty so don’t understand why we were rushed. Still overall a very delicious meal. Would definitely go back. Just would not order dessert at same time as ordering apps and main entree.

Small Batch is always a great consistent meal. This time was extra special because Tom Colichio was cooking! It was a great night with the most spectacular cocktails! Their espresso martinis are out of this world too!
