Welcome to Taco Gato, part of the FNF Restaurant Group. Our food and drinks are fun, exciting, surprising, and fresh. This is not your average taco joint. We took inspiration from 30° north latitude across the globe, focusing on North America. We have created an elevated, rustic menu that we often describe as Tex-Mex meets Southern with an Asian flare. The ambiance embodies southern decor that, in our opinion, most resembles a new take on an old saloon meets a high-end agave bar to create a warm and inviting space.     The service was fine and the food was great. However, we were over charged for the meal and we were told it would take at least three business days for it to be addressed. This to me was unacceptable. I’m not sure what they’re thinking at this restaurant. Not good.

    Stopped in after an Iowa WBB game. So it was near closing for a Wednesday evening. All the staff were outstanding from the host at the door to the servers and bar staff. Love Tribute’s menu, the food was spot on. Add that all together and you have a great restaurant!

    We came here on a Friday night and it was so quiet with only 2 other tables. I don’t understand how this place isn’t busier as the food was excellent. The 3 of us had the Prime Rib with loaded baked potato and sautéed vegetables and it was all excellent. Our son got the Onion rings to start and they were also very good. Our server, Doug, was very attentive and did very well by us. I would definitely eat here again and my only thinking as to why this pace wasn’t packed is because it’s a little out of the way but it’s recently renovated and very nice. The pub down the hall has all sorts of arcade games which was fun after we finished dinner.
