    Innovative and creative, chef Jason Peel fuses Japanese and American comfort food using local fresh ingredients. We had the.prix fix lunch menu which changes monthly. His use of flavorings highlights every dish. The portions were very generous, definitely a great value for the fixed price. It’s always a pleasure seeing Chef working and interacting with his customers. You can tell he loves what he does. Not our first time and definitely won’t be our last.

    We had to make reservation changes multiple times an hour prior to our reservation time. The hostess was extremely accommodating and so helpful and polite during all interactions. They were able to meet our party of 8 requests even though it was a Saturday night and holiday weekend. Waitress was very friendly and attentive and food was great as usual. Love coming here, will continue coming here and will always recommend others to as well.

    When explaining the preset menu, as we ordered items, if there is an extra charge, they should make us aware of the extra cost. Th way the waiter asked, the ribeye steak was included is the $78 price but I was surprised when the bill came and my portion of the bill was higher than $78.

    Food was excellent, loved the raw and grilled oysters. The grilled were wonderful, spicy and Decadent with nori butter. Clam Portuguese dish was nice to share and paired very well with the Rioja that we ordered. My husband got the black squid ink risotto with calamari. This dish was perfect, better than anything we have had in Venice, Italy. I ordered the scallops and as much as they were excellent. I spent a lot of money for two scallops, when I was expecting three. However, the waiter comped dessert. The brownie was yummy! Most important the service wasn’t rush and when I booked we were at the counter, but I asked if we could be moved to a table. Wish was granted and we had a delightful meal.
