Opened on December 13, 2014 (yes, 12/13/14!) in a historic building at the corner of Woodward and Canfield. The Huma Room on the second floor features half of a black 1973 Cadillac Fleetwood mounted behind the wall and an outdoor patio. Located on Woodward Ave, it's easy to jump on the QLine or walk down to Little Caesars Arena, Comerica Park, or Ford Field.     Seldon Standard is an experience for the senses - the ingredients are so uniquely and deliciously well paired! The presentation and delivery is well timed so that each dish can be enjoyed separately. So very good! It is a little dark, and with such beautiful food and to read the menu, the lighting could be better. My next visit I would like to sit at the bar, it’s warm, cozy from the fire ovens!

    The fried chicken sandwich is one of the best! My group and I loved that we could all get different sides to try to go along with the sandwich. The Mac and Sweet Potatoes were our favorite sides! Will definitely be back again.

    I absolutely loved the energy at The Block! The staff was so friendly, patient and helpful! Even who I believe was security was great. The food was also tasty, I will definitely be back. Live DJ from 12-3 during brunch on the weekend and he definitely had the vibes! I ordered the Say Less & it was good. My waitress Ebony was a delight. Money well spent!
