Restaurants near Maynard Summit Park

This was our first time here; we were celebrating a birthday. We usually do Eddie Merlot's or Jeff Ruby's for special occasions but have been disappointed in them our last few times out. Let me start by saying, we were very pleased with Butcher & Rose. Overall, food was wonderful and Jennifer, our waitress, was great. We started with Dirty Tots. Let me just say, these were awesome! We followed those with a bib salad and lobster bisque. Both were great. My husband and I have always wanted to try Beef Wellington. They have it on the menu and it was great. If I had to find something to complain about, the restaurant was a little louder than I would have expected for this type of restaurant but that is me picking. This will become our new place for celebrations. Would love to eat there more often but the expensive price tag prevents that.

Lindey’s never disappoints. I’ve lived in Florida for 30 years now but still enjoy going to Lindeys when I’m back in Columbus. Though it’s a nicer restaurant they haven’t gauged people with huge price increases over the years as so many others have. Don’t get me wrong it’s not cheap but no one expects it to be when visiting here. We went for lunch this trip and had the turkey Rachel which was fantastic. Don’t forget the glass of wine!

We had a wonderful time. Booked the Winter Haus rooftop experience, there were 6 of us. They had a heater to warm the space, nice ambiance. They had fire going outside. We ordered several things from the menu and everything was really good. Our server Owen was absolutely delightful!

We sat at the bar, we did not realize it was a pre-fix menu for Christmas. The menu sounded delicious, just more food than we signed up for lunch. Our bartender was great, and made the experience more enjoyable. Our drinks were delicious, and it was great ambiance. We are looking forward to our next visit to try the regular menu!

Have been wanting to come try and decided to come for Christmas Eve dinner. The coc au vin was excellent! I’ve been throughout France several times and it immediately took me back from the first bite. My son stated his linguine and lobster was very good as well. Chapeau to the chef and staff. Definitely will pop back in again soon.
