Restaurants near Naval Station Great Lakes

I had ordered the 12 oz filet medium. The steak came to me heavily seared- to the point the steak was tough and dry 3/4" deep from the outside of the steak. Filets are NEVER to be heavily and deeply seared on a filet. I did not complain at the time-- as I was grateful for the meal -- as I won it on the drawing in the casino. And I was appreciative that I did not have to pay for it.

The venue is very nice and is perfect for a small gathering. The food is delicious, my only knock is that the lunchtime food menu/offering is a bit limited.

My wife and I eat at Kuro infrequently - but it is always outstanding and we ask ourselves "why don't we eat here more often?" The Miso Soup is yummy. My Hibachi Filet was terrific, again. Her Hibachi Scallops were wonderful. Drinks were great and service was beyond great. Value for the experience was outstanding - $80 for two fantastic meals with excellent low cost drinks that were recommended by the staff. I don't think you can find a better mid range cost experience. This was a high end evening on a mid-range budget. See you there next Saturday!

Nice menu offerings with a little bit of everything (maybe a bit light on seafood). Enjoyable evening with good service and decor decked out for Christmas.
