Restaurants near North Harford Swim Club

We met with our grandchildren to celebrate Valentine’s Day and it was a deliciously delightful meal! Everything was so good from our drinks and our meals to dessert and coffee. It is always a treat to go to a restaurant where we always have wonderful food in a great atmosphere with a wonderful staff! We had some of our favorites today, Crispy Chicken Obb Salad, Blackened Pasta with Shrimp, and three of us had Fish Tacos!

I visit the restaurant quite often. It is always my “go to” place. It all starts with the manager, Kristen. She is always so welcoming. I know when I see her smile as I open the door, it will be another great night and meal. I see “regulars” at the restaurant all the time. Have gained so many friends over the years. Each experience is a new, memorable experience. I can’t thank Kristen, Bryan and all the staff enough for everything you have done for myself and my family. Recommend to all to visit this restaurant! Chicken in a Pot very delicious. Do buffalo wings for an appetizer if you’re into a little spice.

Great things stay great - as do great restaurants. Last year we visited Bluestone on V-Day and guess what? We did again this year! Many comments I made last year in my Bluestone review remain equally valid: 1. Grace under pressure - Restaurants can display managerial weaknesses on Valentine's Day. Even good and great restaurants, which can get crushed by numbers of holiday celebrants. V-Day may be one of the busiest nights of the year for upscale restaurants. However, the best of the best shine through under the pressure. So was the case with Bluestone on V-Day 2025. Management acumen made the restaurant not seem overly crowded or too bustling but clearly every seat was filled. Bluestone manages its reservations and wait-list with aplomb. 2. Food was wonderful per its lofty standards - We expect greatness at Bluestone and it delivered. Again. The Crisfield Stew never disappoints. Big hunks of fresh seafood in a very tasty broth - like bouillabaisse crossed with Maryland Crab Soup...." I had the highly excellent crabcake-stuffed-flounder, served on a bed of very tasty seasoned rice - sort of a risotto. We devoured the super-hot, fresh rolls while enjoying a couple of perfect cocktails featuring blackberries. Our newish waitress Lauren was rock solid (Kelsey last year probably cannot be topped). All told we dropped $143 but Bluestone is worth every penny. . So what's stopping you? Go to Bluestone.

It had been a while since we had dined here. Only the second time since they renovated and reopened. While it isn't quite as fancy as before, the food remains good. A few items are off the menu (a good spinach salad for starters) the menu remains strong. We both had steaks which were cooked as requested. We had a great meal.
