Riccardo was born in Florence, Italy and grew up in Boston, MA. Marybeth, a Sioux Falls native, ventured to the east coast as a nanny and then nursing school in Somerville, MA. The two met, fell in love, and became engaged on Martha’s Vineyard island. Moving back to Sioux Falls in 1999 and working at several area restaurants, they opened R Wine Bar in 2018. It is the best spot in town. I always love going there and it’s always a good time with fabulous food and service. If you don’t go to this place, you are definitely missing out! Always and forever my favorite spot!
