We visited from Chelmsford and had amazing Xmas meal

We were quietly celebrating a good friend’s birthday and drove from Colchester to eat at this beautiful restaurant. The interior is magical with its hanging lights and cavernous dining hall. The food is 100% vegetarian and vegan and so, as vegetarians, we could choose anything from the menu in comfort. One of our diners has a gluten intolerance and the waiter advised us, knowledgeably, about the appropriateness of each item ordered. The food was wonderful! We shared a mixed starter and all commented on the quality. The main dishes were fresh; the dosa was crispy as it should be. The staff were attentive, but not too attentive, and very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We all talked about what a lovely experience the evening had been on the drive home.

Authentic Malaysian food with exceptional service. Very good value

Staff were very polite and welcoming. Service was swift and pleasant. The food was piping hot, all delivered together and delicious. Overall, a really great experience on our first visit for my wife’s birthday and pre theatre meal.
