Restaurants near Observatory Historic District

Our waitress, Brittany was outstanding. She paced our meal just the way we wanted. I loved the mushroom soup. My daughter has Celiac's disease, so the extensive Gluten free dedicated menu was a real plus! Out flatbread appetizer was excellent. My husband and I shared the butter fish, and it was tender, flakey, and just the right amount of Asian seasong. Will definitely return!

We took our daughter for her 16th birthday. She had never been. Our waitress BRIDGETTE was AMAZING!! To top it off we surprised her with a new truck! The valet guys brought it up and put our giant bow on it and communicated with us to surprise her when we walked out to get the valet. They had it ready for us!! Outstanding service all around!

Love this restaurant.. the sushi is excellent! Looking forward to the Loveland location opening!

Three of us shared a special reunion dinner. The initial hosts were quite polished, yet I felt my guest's attire and my signature (SF Asian Art museum) baseball cap was a possible issue, so I was not surprised when we were sized up and sat in the back/vault. The back was GREAT. More privacy and tons more quiet than the front. The final server we had was THE BEST. He helped us with the menu quickly and seamlessly (he really knew his stuff.) His friendliness was NATURAL, not forced. We were not rushed. Plus he was the perfect balance between professional and friendly. Formal dining etiquette (re clearing and food delivery) were all present and perfect. Yes, this was rather pricy, but I will definitely return, esp for a special occasion. And our server deserved his 30% tip, even if provided by a guy in a baseball cap with casually-dressed guests. ; )

The food was impeccable and service was excellent. Really a special meal on Christmas Eve!
