Restaurants near Old Walls Vineyard

A wonderful setting in a very pretty village. Seating is limited so it is advised to book in advance. The service is well drilled and we did not experience any problems. We ordered our meal and the waitress did tell us there would be quite a wait. Not a problem and well worth the 45 minutes. Please remember that this is freshly cooked food and quality produce. If you want a quick "ping" meal then best think about going to a large pub chain! All of our meals arrived pipping hot and well worth the wait, fantastic. We also met the two sisters who are the chefs and they told us that they along with a sisters husband have been there for 20 years. They were very passionate about what they do and how they source the produce as local as possible. A lovely evening and we will be revisiting again in the new year.

Enjoyable..I didn't know how nice it would be in the evening. Food was great and service friendly and efficient. Will definitely be returning. Thanks guys

all the food we had for main course was excellent good quality ingredients. outstanding. i didnt like my dessert of artic roll though my husband quite likes his christmas pudding

A Christmas treat with my parents. 3 course meal for all of us. It was packed but the staff had everything perfectly timed and were great at their jobs. The food is always perfect and the presentation superb! I wish I could dine here more often.

Beautiful venue with excellent food and service. The blue cheese soufflé was excellent as well as the duck rendang. Desserts were very clever and well presented. We must go back the next time we are in Exeter.
