- AA. NasserNew York City •3 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoI don't have enough words to describe how amazing the whole experience was. From the manager, Demetrios, to the waiter, Jeremy, and even the front desk hostess - everyone was beyond kind, professional, and so welcoming. The food was unreal, the atmosphere was perfect, and I wouldn't change a thing. Definitely one of the best culinary experiences I've had with the most amazing staff and environment. So much love for this place and coming here every time when I visit from NYC. Perfect for casual drinks/snacks or a special life event :)More infoBar GeorgePrice: Expensive• British• Downtown•4.7

Now I can add Nikkei to that list without hesitation. The food has unique flavour and texture combinations that are both new and familiar, the drinks are top notch (and aren’t shy with the alcohol content), all with artistic presentation. All staff are inviting and warm and are very knowledgeable of the menu, making it easy for us to make choices. The ambiance is awesome with a keen eye for decor (I would know, I’m a mural artist). Happy to see such a cool, classy spot in this end of Laurier! We will be back undoubtedly, especially for terrasse season.More infoNikkei MTLPrice: Expensive• Peruvian• Plateau Mont-Royal•4.6
- MmichaelNew York City •17 reviews4.0Dined on 18 Oct 2024Bungalow has essentially a classic bistro menu with some updates. Fried calamari with salad was an excellent appetizer for two people to share. It seemed fresh and well-prepared. Mains of steak (cooked exactly as requested) and navarin d'agneau (underseasoned) were perfectly fine withoug being at all distinctive. In short, exactly what I usually want from a bistro: a predictable meal of good quality ingredients, classically prepared with no surprises. On the night we were there, it was not at all crowded, so noise level was fine. But we could easily hear the conversation of a table at the other end of the restaurant, so I imagine it might be noisy when full.More infoRestaurant BungalowPrice: Expensive• Market Cuisine• Plateau Mont-Royal•4.7
