A lovely restaurant for dinner during the Christmas season. The calamari was crisp. The oysters were fresh, tasting of the sea. The prime rib was juicy and delicious. A fun way to start the evening before the symphony.

Excellent service for our table of 17 during the busy holiday season. The drinks and food were fantastic, as usual. Jake's does an outstanding job of handling all-size parties. We appreciate the restaurant ambiance and attitude of the employees. We will be back next year for our holiday dinner and in between for lunches.

They had me at Focaccia! This restaurant is a total gem. Wonderful intimate ambiance, great staff, nice to see the chefs working away in the open kitchen. The food will keep you coming back - I know I will! I visited with a friend and we shared focaccia bread and three dishes and then each had a dessert - so perfect!!! Top notch fresh ingredients make the difference here - Yum!

Went here for a romantic evening dinner after a full day of exploring and hiking around Portland. Kind, attentive staff, outstanding views, well curated menu and wine selection. I do wish the portions were slightly larger, especially the dessert. We ordered one to share, and it was quite small; we could have eaten it in one bite. However, the city view is undoubtedly one of the highlights, it completely transports you into a far more intimate city and makes you forget about the bustling around you. Our server Amanda was amazing! She made sure we were well educated on our entree selections, and I have to commend how careful they were about my tree nut allergy, that kind of attention to detail is a rare occurrence. Overall, it was a beautiful evening and I will definitely be returning next time I’m in Portland.
