Townhouse is a stunning award winning restaurant and bar with an impressive garden and covered outside dining space. Our Head Chef Ryan McCartney (ex Social Eating House) has created a fabulous menu for all tastes from our famous Townhouse Burger to beautiful Roasted Cornish Cod with St Austell Mussels there really is a dish for everyone ! Just a short drive from Chester and Shrewsbury. Dogs are welcome in our bar and garden.

    We had a family meal, me, my wife and two kids and we had an amazing time, the service was excellent and the food was amazing. Nothing to complain about. Will definitely return for another night out.

    We planned a weekend break in Dolgellau and Y Sospan was booked two weeks before the trip. We last ate there in September 2023 so being keen to visit again is a strong recommendation. We both wanted the lamb shank and it was outstanding in quality and quantity. It's a really interesting building, the service was excellent, the whole experience just what we hoped for. We did, in fact, return for lunch, without booking, on Saturday as we were keen to give the Cafe Menu a try. It'll be on our wish list anytime we are in North Wales and want a decent meal.

    We had a great Sunday dinner the staff are really welcoming and lovely to talk to and have a laugh with, the food was excellent and plenty of it, value for money without a doubt, we will definitely be returning
