Opening R Wine Bar & Kitchen in 2018, and Vespa Catering and Brix Wine Bar in 2022, they have created a culture of hospitality for guests who feel like family. Riccardo was born in Florence, Italy and moved to Boston when he was 5-years-old. He stayed in the Boston area for college and attended Tufts University. Marybeth, born and raised in Sioux Falls, SD, moved to Boston to be a nanny and went to Somerville School of Nursing. The two met in Medford, MA, dated and became engaged in Oak Bluffs on Martha’s Vineyard in 1996. Relocating to Sioux Falls, SD in 1999, Riccardo and Marybeth have developed a reputation for making people feel welcome with their three boys, Dante, Berent, and Jaxon. Together with their hand-picked team, Riccardo and Marybeth bring the best parts of hospitality to life in their restaurants, for both their staff and guests.     Wow where to start, what an amazing business meal tonight. Best place I have ever ate at in the entire state of South Dakota!! Our server Zach was outstanding and so attentive. It was 5-star service and he made it an awesome experience. The steaks were to die for the side dishes were amazing, and the oysters in the half shell were so FRESH! This place has one of the best views in the city of Sioux Falls, overlooking the Falls. I cannot wait to go back!! We will be asking for Zach as our server again, he made our business meal this evening a five star experience. Kudo's to the kitchen staff and chef, your food is the best I have ever had growing up in South Dakota my whole life. I never right reviews, but I could not way to do this one tonight when I got home. We will be back!!

    We had a wonderful evening! It was our 26th anniversary an we were treated like royalty before we even mentioned it was our anniversary. The food/wine was just amazing as the service!

    Wait to get in was very short, Monday must be a great day to visit this restaurant. The food is consistent and service attentive. Things have changed over the years, no more white table cloths. Food was generous and flavorful, prepared properly, and above average ... not elevated. Still, enjoyed the meal and surroundings, it's always a great place for a business meeting or special event. Thank you!
