Restaurants near Pine Needle Meadows

Our server was Martine and he couldn’t have been more delightful! The food was great, a tad on the expensive side but you pay extra for the ambiance. There was a live band who was playing hits and so much fun. Great, strong drinks. We will always come back here!

We were a party of seven adults and six children (under the age of 11). Everyone from the youngest to the oldest was very pleased with their meal choices. We all agreed everything was delicious and extremely flavorful. 

We made a reservation for New Years Day for 10 people, and we’re easily accommodated when we needed to adjust the time. All the staff we encountered were incredibly friendly, professional and helpful. Even though they were very busy due to the holiday, we were served in reasonable time and all of our needs were met. We had an excellent seat with a beautiful view of the lake at sunset. Excellent experience!

We had a terrific meal in a refined, cozy, and quiet dining room. There was a fire in the central fireplace, a view over the snow covered golf course, and the food was excellent. 2 of us shared a starter of grilled octopus, my wife had beef stroganoff, and I had prime rib, accompanied by a Nero d’Avola from Sicily. Although the room was nearly full, it was pleasantly quiet which was relaxing and made it easy to talk Our server, Michael, is outstanding! He is pleasant, attentive, and very knowledgeable about both the food and the wine list. He has taken care of us before and always makes dinner at the Lodge a great experience.

It was an okay dining experience last night. We typically love our evenings at the sawyer, but our server last night was a little spacey and honestly non-attentive… we are not used to experiencing this at the Sawyer.
