Food was great. Our server Aaron was Friendly and attentive. Refreshed food as needed. Planned in advance, Santa delivered some mini stockings with personalized ornaments. Ages 9-38, they were surprised and enjoyed them. All in all fun experience!

It looks great inside, and the steak was the best ever. Pricy but worth it. We don’t get out much, and this place is a gem here in northern Oakland County so we don’t have to drive into the city for a top scale meal.

Jake took great care of us. We were celebrating 35 years of marriage, and they surprised us with wine, a non- alcoholic drink for my husband, and a delicious fudge with sparklers! They made it even more special by adding sparklers, which I love, and a card signed by all the staff members!! Jake did a great job recommending meat and cheeses for our Charcuterie, and the gluten-free bread was amazing. My husband said the prime rib sandwich was "really, really good, in fact outstanding!" It was my first time trying a Connecticut lobster roll, which I'm glad I tried, but I will probably go with the prime rib next time. Great job, everyone, and we'll see you in the summer!

Zehnder's has consistently excellent food. It may be pricey, but at least you know what you will get. I generally get the family style fried chicken dinner. The chicken is excellent. The first round of dishes include great cole slaw, amazing cranberry relish, and stollen (my favorite German bread) among other things. The main course includes the fried chicken, mashed potatoes, stuffing, vegetables (of which hubbard squash is the most excellent), noodles (a favorite of all kids in my family). Yum!! This time of year you can even get peppermint stick ice cream for dessert. It doesn't get any better than that!
