Restaurants near Place of Contemporary Arts and Action

The food was excellent. However we didn’t have and bowl to place the mussel shells in and didn’t have a finger bowl to clean your fingers. Also had Eton mess that came in a glass but not on a serving plate. We were sat in the rear part of the restaurant that needs an update. The doors to a storage area were open all the time containing a cycle and other items. Electric cables were visible in the restaurant We were given the wrong bill at the end of the meal The toilets need updated

I’m a regular and I love everything about the Captain Digby, the staff are professional, attentive, helpful and generally very nice. Food is excellent, varied, tasty, great value for money and really generous portions. Always a 10 out of 10 💙💙💙

A great place to eat in Broadstairs, amazing fish in a proper seaside setting, great views from a traditional style restaurant above the closest pub to the sea.

We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect. It was so good to find GF and vegan options. In fact they offer a varied menu and we all were spoilt for choice. Loved the Cauliflower popcorns

Really exceptional Sunday lunch with “fine dining” food served in a convivial setting by knowledgable and friendly staff. Some novel dishes for to adventurous and outstanding traditional roasts - beef coked perfectly rate for instance. Wine list is mainly Spanish since during the week this is a tapas restaurant.
